"Olivia is a proactive whirlwind of energy, brilliance, and positivity! Juggling multiple projects is her superpower, all while keeping the mood high. She is your best bet if you want to organise amazing events or if you need the scoop on the hottest new restaurant/bar (and she can do so in five languages)!" — Camille Temple
Olivia grew up in London and originally joined True as Host in 2023. Having previously worked at Soho House in Berlin, Olivia finished off her degree in German with Film at King's College London to keep in line with a goal of being fluent in six languages. Always keen to learn more about other cultures through her interest in film, music, and literature—aside from all things marketing and events, she can be found trail running and planning her next trip somewhere in Europe.
I chose True because I have always been an advocate for doing things differently. There's room at True to forge a different path in life and be heard in the corporate world—something I had previously thought was not possible.
I bring True's story to life, bringing people together so they know who we are, what we do and why we do it.
I love the people! Working with people I get on well with is key to what is important to me in my job, and True has a knack for hiring amazing people. What I love least is that no matter how well I plan things, things can and will change at the last minute—you just have to roll with it.
Tarsem Singh's 'The Fall' (2007). It's about the redemptive power of storytelling, in both good and bad times—imagination here isn't an escape from reality but something we can engage with. It's a beautiful visual epic about compassion and how the most unexpected people can end up teaching you the most. It taught me that no matter who you meet, despite our differences, if you're open-minded there is always common ground.
My grandfather. My first and oldest friend—I've grown up with his stories of his father who was a double agent for MI5 during WWII, and he's still telling me new stories today. He has always backed me in everything I do, his most valuable lesson being to always have a sense of humour.
